The hot immersion bath is a valuable treatment in chronic rheumatism and obesity

It gives immediate relief when there is pain due to stones in the gall bladder and the kidneys. This bath also relieves capillary bronchitis and bronchial pneumonia in children. It relieves congestion of the lungs and activates the blood vessels of the skin muscles.

This bath can be taken from two to 15 minutes at a temperature from 36.6º C to 40º C.
Generally this bath is started at 37ºC and the temperature is then gradually raised to the required level by adding hot water.

Before entering the bath, the patient should drink cold water and also wet the head, neck and shoulders with cold water. A cold compress should be applied throughout the treatment. This bath can be advantageously employed in dropsy when there is excessive loss of tone of the heart and blood. The bath should be terminated as soon as the skin becomes red.

In pneumonia and suppressed menstruation, the bath should be administered at 37.7º C to 40º
C for about 30 to 45 minutes. This bath should be given when the menstruation is due and may be repeated for two to three days in succession. In dysmenorrhoea, this bath should be given at 38º C to 44.4º C for 15 minutes.

In chronic bronchitis a very hot bath taken for 5 to 7 minutes should be accompanied with
rubbing and friction. This relieves congestion of the mucous membrane and provides
immediate relief. After the bath, oil should be applied to the skin if necessary. The hot bath should not be taken in cases of organic diseases of the brain or spinal cord, nor in cases of cardiac weakness or cardiac hypertrophy.

I then tone with a Simple moisturizer as well as toning before I go to bed. Initially when I started this I had more spots, but after a week it dies down.

Tip 2 - Drink water
Humans are, as I'm sure you know, made up of mostly water, we need it to survive but more than that, we need it to function well! Most headaches are caused by dehydration and it can also affect other parts of the body, such as the skin. Drinking lots of water will serve two functions, firstly your skin will be healthier as you will help to flush out toxins, and secondly you will likely cut down on fizzy drinks and tea, which can have a negative affect on your skin.

Tip 3 - A balanced diet (and sleep)
A balanced diet is incredibly important to being healthy, and being healthy means healthy skin. Vitamins and minerals in fruit and vegetables not only bolster your immune system which can help destroy bacteria in spots quicker, but it can also improve the quality of your skin making spots less likely to appear. Sleep is also an important factor as you heal whilst sleeping, so those spots will actually be healed at night, plus a lack of sleep can lead to a poor immune system which means your body is less effective at fighting spots.

Even better make your own cosmetics - just do a google and you'll find recipes for mixing your own creams, shampoos and toothpaste. A treat for the skin and a saving for the budget!

Bodies that are fed healthily have less need of a deodorant. When a body has a bad odor from the vagina, arm pits or mouth it's a sign that all is not well. Fix up the diet and odor will disappear.

3. Fitness
I'll admit I'm amazingly lazy. But I can touch my toes, do the splits and take a long walk without getting out of breath. Just by the way I'm 46 and still the same size I was way back when.

The body needs movement to make the blood flow. Good circulation gives your eyes a sparkle and your skin clarity. In no way I'm advocating strenuous work outs at the gym. Life has to be fun. Right? Stretching exercises and leisurely walks in the fresh air suffice, provided the body is getting the right diet.

4. Rest
Funnily enough once the body gets the right food it doesn't need so much sleep! Even so, a good rest is essential for maintaining natural beauty.
